Camp registration is now at 338! The camp tees are here and will be released with the camp book soon. In the meanwhile, please take a look at the tentative bus and rooming list. Please let brother Chern Woon, the camp committee or our church staff know if your name is missing.
Our minister will speak at our morning worships today on the subject of "God Created Man after His Own Image". In the evening, deacon Li Chhoan will exhort the congregation on the title “Summer Harvest”.
We warmly welcome our returning visitor, brother Kevin Starr to Singapore. As with the previous trip, he will be leading songs at our 11am service. Since last week, the announcements are made by the person who leads the call to worship.
This morning after the announcements, the SIBI board will be presenting certificates of completion for those who have taken the previous 3 SIBI courses for credit. Congratulations to all the successful candidates.
Families are asked to check on their children at Bible classes and to sit with their children at worships. “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” - Proverbs 22:6.
Many thanks to the Ronald Leows for the wonderful act of service to recognise our mothers last Sunday. PP is a great church because of members like these who exemplify true leadership by serving.
Our reference library has merged with the SIBI library. Sister Tamara Cook is our new librarian, assisted by brother Patrick Ong. Already, the shelves are filled with a rich resource of atlases, lexicons, commentaries etc - classics, standards and modern. Brother Charles Cook will be bringing in more books to build this library into one of the finest in this region. Our preacher has donated a Sony VCR cum TV to play the collection of hundreds of VCR tapes, some of which will be converted into DVDs.
Sister Emily and her family want to thank the church for the support and conducting the song services and funeral at the recent loss of her mother, sister Goh Soh Kim.
