Here are some updates made on March 2nd, 2006. Sister Little who is the secretary of Payap Christian Zone is a good souce of contact throughout Thailand. Her number is 095538080 - those with Singapore phones
can get her at +6695538080. I use Starhub (free calls to Thailand)- dailing 0186695538080 gets her on the phone, loud and clear. I believe Singtel subscribers have to replace 018 with 019.
For Phuket, you should get in touch with the church secretary, sister Less at
092910207. I got her at 0186692910207, using Starhub. +6692910207 should also work.
The mailing address for the church in Phuket so is:
P.O. Box 212,
Muang, Phuket 3000.
Tel. 66 7621 8090
Here is a website that lists some of the churches of Christ in Thailand.
For Chiangmai, get in touch before leaving with Robert Reagan (who can help you with enquiries concerning Thailand) at rnreagan@loxinfo.co.th.
The church is located on Huay Kaew Road, directly across from the Chiang Mai
University's main entrance gate. The church sign says "Cheung Doi Church of
Christ." Services start at 9:30 p.m. on Sundays. They do not have an
English service. Their entire program is in the Thai language since they are a
church focusing on evangelizing the Thai people.
When in Chiangmai, you can get in touch with Peter or Joy phichak1@loxinfo.co.th at Office Tel: 396576, Home Tel: 893194, 17 Monfort Villa Soi 10, Tanon Sai Oom-Muang, Muang, Chiengmai 5000, Thailand.
In Bangkok, the church is at 15/31 Ramintra 8 Ladpraow, Bangkok 10900. Tel: 2528621. Minister: Glome Choatnukul - glomer99@yahoo.com. The church is located at a side lane opposite Porntip, the popular computer center. It is better to call ahead.
The best way to get there is to start at the computer centre (next to Diamond Hotel),
cross the over head bridge keep moving in the same direction, on the first lane on your right.
